NEW VISION FOR KING ABDULLAH II PARK

My master's graduation design project which earned the highest mark, was a visionary proposal for King Abdullah II's parks. In this project, I reimagined the parks with a holistic approach, focusing on creating an immersive and sustainable urban oasis for the public. The design incorporated cutting-edge technology, green infrastructure, and community-centric elements to enhance the overall user experience. Through meticulous attention to detail and thoughtful design solutions, the project aimed to revitalize the parks, making them a symbol of modernity and environmental stewardship while preserving their historical and cultural significance. The project contained a community center, a gallery, musical school, sports center, restaurant, cafe lounge, amphitheater, children's playing area and commercial center.

KING HUSSEIN FOUNDATION

The King Hussein Foundation was founded in 1999 by Her Majesty Queen Noor to give enduring life to His Majesty King Hussein’s humanitarian vision and legacy by fostering equitable access for Jordanian and regional citizens to socio-economic, educational, health, and cultural opportunities for women, youth, and the marginalized to enable them to contribute meaningfully to national and regional development. The Foundation was built, in part, on the best practice sustainable development initiatives of the Noor Al Hussein Foundation which originated in the early 1980s.
This design was a proposal for a new branch of this foundation in 2006, supervised by the architectural engineering department in the University of Jordan.
